Parents know their child arrived. And who took them home.

SafePup replaces the paper register and the guesswork at the gate. Parents get a text when their child is marked present, and a code that must be given before anyone can collect them.

No app for parents to download. It works by SMS, on any phone.

A school day

  1. Morning

    The register

The teacher opens the class list, taps only the children who are absent, and sends. Every parent of a present child gets a text.

  2. 11:30

    Nobody forgotten

Any child still not marked present triggers a message to their parent. Late arrivals get a follow-up, so a false alarm is always closed.

  3. Closing

    One code per family

Each household gets a 4-digit code by text. Brothers and sisters share one code, not one each.

  4. At the gate

    Green or red

The code is typed in. Green, the child goes. Red, the child stays. No code means the office decides, with a photo.

Every release has a name on it

Each staff member signs in as themselves, so the record of who marked a register or released a child names a real person — not “the gate”.

Your school's data is yours alone

Schools cannot see each other. That boundary is enforced at the database, not just hidden in the screens.

Set up in an afternoon

Upload your student list from a spreadsheet. Add your teachers and gate staff. Nothing is sent to parents until you're ready.

What SafePup does not do

It is worth being plain, because a safety product that oversells itself is worse than none. SafePup confirms that the right code was given and keeps a record of who released each child. It cannot stop a member of staff who chooses to ignore it, and it does not decide family disputes. It makes the right thing easy and the wrong thing visible.
